40th Annual Trends in the Real Estate Market Seminar

40th Annual Trends In the Real Estate Market Seminar | CONNECTING THE DOTS

On Thursday, January 10th, 2019, Colliers International | Boston celebrated its 40th Annual Trends in the Real Estate Market Seminar. Originally founded in 1979, the event has grown tremendously over the years as a forum to provide the real estate community with thoughtful content, educational market overviews and solid networking opportunities, and the 40th year was no exception.

This year’s event theme, CONNECTING THE DOTS, was a nod to the fact that the commercial real estate industry has become increasingly interconnected as technology, resources and economic factors continue bringing the world closer together. In fact, Boston has solidified its position as a Gateway City over the past decade, becoming a magnet for capital drawn to the thriving pillars of education, healthcare and life science that provide stability for, diversity in, and attraction to our globally watched market.

Among other things, the January 10th event highlighted market trends, acknowledged potential challenges that were addressed, and most importantly, shared predictions for the future. The Boston landscape has changed dramatically since the event's 1979 kick-off and we look forward to sharing our expertise as Boston continues to evolve over the next forty years.
